American Craftsman window screen frame replacement corner brackets

looking for American Craftsman window screen frame replacement corner brackets
None at the hardware stores will match or fit.
Picture is a good one, several have broken in screen removal.
Other pics show frame corner.
Looked all over windows and find no labels to locate PN.

Thanks, Jeff

Hello,

Unfortunately, the window manufacturer discontinued this corner key a while back. We have used our 95-002 3/16" X 3/16" self-locking corner key as a replacement while repairing screens. Check out the part, but be careful to check the measurements before you consider making a purchase. Thanks for posting!

I just saw this post I had responded to a different post earlier. When using this to replace the original corner key do you use 2 in each corner or one? If you need 2 can one be the 95-176 and the other be the 95-002? So basically one locking and one not? The original corner key basically had 2 keys in each corner if you look at the original corner key.

Thanks,
Mark

The function of the double leg design was to keep the slide latch in the screen frame. If you don't have a screen latch, you can just install the 95-002 lock in corner in the frame and that should be sufficient. If you do have a latch, however, then the 95-176 would be good to keep the latch in place. Or just use both if you think it's needed.
