American Craftsmen by Andersen 50 series patio door

Unfortunately, the lock on my sliding door is no longer "catching" the piece on the door frame. I found a similar question on your website that looked to recommend 82-030 and 82-218. Is it required/recommended to replace both the handle and the mortise lock?

I agree that the 82-218 appears to match the lock on your door, but you will need to measure and compare the dimensions to confirm a good fit!

If the handle is still in working order, you do not need to replace it. The 82-030 handle set would be our best option if the distance between the installation holes measures 3-15/16" from center to center. Let us know if you have any additional questions!
