Ancient crank

A handy person from Alabama says:
This is a window crank for an awning opener. It was installed in our cabin decades ago after having been salvaged from a still older structure. There are no manufacturer's marks on it.

The holes along the long axis are separated vertically by 4 1/2"
The lower holds are separated horizontally by 1 3/8"
The bar is 3" long

Good luck, I appreciate your assistance!
