Andersen Balance Help

Question

Please let me know if this is enough to go on for a replacement part. I have not removed it yet but can certainly do that if you think there is more info. I believe these windows were installed in the 70's.

Thanks for writing in. I'm afraid that isn't the stamp that tells us what sash balance you need. With Andersen balances, the stamp code that signifies what replacement you need could be anywhere on the metal box, as well as that tab on the side. You will have to remove it and show us photos of all the stamps; from there, we should be able to tell you what you need.
