I see you have a replacement equivalent, part number 2573555, but do you have this specific one? W2573554
I'm looking to save money and the brass and satin nickle are expensive.
Thanks,
Ron

Hello! This is an old style latch that isn't made anymore. The good news is, our 82-043 was made specifically to replace it. It is available in white and stone.

I saw that as well... But it looks like the 82-241 is more of a fit with respect to the original size cover plate.
Basically, the suggested plate (more oval-ish) looks like it will not cover the entire area occupied by the original plate. Since the sliding door is wood, it would leave a sliver of new wood exposed if I used the 82-043.
Any input? Is it actually bigger? Can you include the dimensions (L x W) so I can compare?
Thx,
Ron

Sure, I just went back and measured one. The width, at its widest point, is approximately 1-1/8", while the total length is approximately 4-1/32". If memory serves, it should be longer than your old latch, but the oval shape will mean that there may be exposed space underneath. Unfortunately, they just don't make your style anymore.
