Andersen Thumb Latch

Question

I have an 82-043 installed on my sliding glass door.

It locks from the inside and has a key lock on the outside.

This was done by prior owner's.

I what to lock from the outside, can I just get a key made

Or if I order a replacement does it come with a key.

Thanks for writing in. I'm afraid you're probably going to have some difficulty getting a key made, as there are not many locksmiths dealing with these particular locks. The 82-043 pairs with our (left hand) 82-316 and (right hand) 82-317. These both come with keys. Let me know what you think.
