My windows are double hung 3/0x5/6 installed in 1983. All the cords are failing now. The markings I see on the balance are P59 and 11600-17. Can you provide a replacement for these? I will need 5 pair.

Thank you for contacting us. Unfortunately, we cannot identify your balance based on the numbers provided. Are there more stamps on the other side of box? You may have to remove the balance in order to see. Take a look at the video below to see how.
It may be easiest if you were to take a few pictures of your stamps for us to look at. Sometimes seeing how the stamps are printed is as important as the numbers themselves!

I found an additional number: 12#31. I read that the number refers to tension/length. This makes sense for windows.

Thank you for getting back to us. That stamp makes things a bit more clear! I think you should look at our 24-1231 Andersen Sash Balance. This can be used to replace balance boxes with the stamp 12#31.
