the number on the old balance is: C39 6#23 3-78

The patent number is 11600-3

The unit is 3" x 6.25" plus .5" flange

Thanks for your reply. Can this replacement unit be used on both the right and left sides of the window?

Yes, the 23-637 can be used on both the left and right side.
