Andersen Window Sash Balances

A home owner from Flanders, NJ says:

I have pulled the head stop from my Andersen window and the sash balance has a code of E30 3#27 9-85.
I assume the 9-85 is the date code. I bought my house in 1986. None of your replacement sash balances have the code. Can you tell me which of your sash balances to use?
By the way, your video "How to replace an Andersen Window Balance" on youtube is outstanding.

Thanks for posting, Dewey. Actually, looking at your picture, it appears that your code read 9#27, not 3#27. I recommend that you double check just to make sure.

I think you should look at our 24-939 Andersen sash balance, which can replace balance boxes with the stamp 9#27.
