Andersen clad casements

Handy Person from Springfield, IL
I have 3 Andersen clad casement windows that were purchased and installed in 1991 that have broken cranks. One is a right hand outswing as shown in the photo, and the other two are left hand outswing. The window size is 26" wide by 45" tall.
Do you have replacement hardware?

Hello,

Your operator resembles the 39-147. We also offer the 39-146 opposite-handed version. Take a look at the specifications below to confirm if it's a match. Thanks for posting!

The part you depict appears to be the correct replacement. I found a number imprinted on the current arm - 1361316. Does that clarify the replacement issue?
Once I have the replacement part(s), installation appears to be problematic. The wood trim piece at the sill would have to be removed in order to unscrew and remove the broken crank. The trim piece is slightly loose, but I can't figure out how to remove it without breaking it, I suspect. Do you have any suggestions?

Unforutnately, we are not able to cross-reference the numbers stamped on the part but as long as the dimensions match, you should be good to go.

As for removing the seal trim, see the video below. The operator is different but the method to remove the trim would be the same.

I was able to remove he wood sill trim piece and fully expose the current operator. I would like to have you confirm that the correct replacement operator for the pictured condition would be part #39-146.

Yes, your operator resembles the 39-146 with the cover removed as shown below. As long as the dimensions match, you'll be good to go.
