Andersen crank

Handy Person from Omaha NE
I am guessing year 2001. Arm moves. I think the part shown is faulty. When you crank the window open the the dial shown in photo doesn't move. Perhaps it is stripped? Please help. Thanks.

PS Homeowner and handyman. Selling house ASAP. Thanks again.

Hello,

Thanks for contacting us! It does sound like the gears on the inside of the operator are stripped. There is a chance we can recommend a replacement for it but I'll need to see the entire operator to confirm the correct fit.

In addition to the base of the operator, I'll need to see the arm(s) and how the operator attaches/interacts with the bottom of the swinging sash.

Please don't hesitate to reach out with any questions you might have.

Thanks for the photos. This operator can be replaced with the 39-264 Andersen Split Arm Crank. It can be used to replace right and left handed applications. Carefully look over the dimensions to determine if this is the right fit.

I've tagged the compatible cover, handles, and brackets below.

Dimensions for 39-264
