Andersen door help

Good morning,

I recently purchased the 82-043 thumb latch, and am having issues making the connection due to the width of my door being 2 inches.

Any suggestions on what is needed to make the install work?

Thanks for reaching out to us. I've never seen a version of the 82-043 with this kind of spindle size before. A 2" thick door is also very large. I'm not sure if you have a special case or just something I haven't seen before; either way, we'll do our best to track this down for you.
