Andersen patio door lock spring

The handle of the door knob is very loose like hanging but still can lock the door. Does this mean something like spring inside got broken that I need to replace?

Hey Wei. I'll be honest, I'm not sure if we'll be able to help with this particular lockset; but to be safe, can you send me a clearer picture of the entire mechanism, including the handle and the lock in the door? That will help us determine what might work best for you. Many thanks.

Thanks for getting back to us. Unfortunately, we don't sell replacement hardware for this type of door. Our specialty lies in sliding glass patio doors, not French doors like this. I recommend contacting Andersen directly to see if they can supply this to you.
