I recently purchased new hangers for my screen door thinking the original hangers were broken as they don't clip in completely. The photo I attached shows the clip furthest away from the door edge on both hangers doesn't clip in.
Should the hangers completely clip in on both sides? If so, what might be the issue?

Hello,
You are correct that the top hanger would clip into the top of the screen door. You may need to apply some additional pressure to engage the side clips with the internal components of the door.
It's also important to confirm that the specifications of the 86-031 are an exact match to your original hanger. If there are any discrepancies, feel free to get back to us with photos of your original hanger uninstalled to confirm if these would be the correct replacements. Thank you.

We have the same issue. We ordered new parts from Swisco (86-031) assuming that one of the hangars was broken because it would not stay in place, but after removing the old hangar from the door, realized it is not broken. How do you put the hangar in the top of the door and keep it from moving around when putting the door on the track? Is there a video showing this?

Unforutnately, we were not able to locate instructions specifically for the 86-031 hanger set, but see the generic instructions used for similar Andersen parts below:
You'd need to orient the new assembly with the sloped side and wheel facing outward (you can check the orientation by matching it to your remaining hanger). Then, slide the new top hanger directly into the exposed top channel of the insect screen. It fits snugly by design and does not require screws.
