Andersen window energy panel (maybe prior to 1982)

A quick learner from Fairfield, CT says:
The latch has a plastic piece that holds it in place. Over the years the plastic has become brittle and the latch falls out.

I am afraid we don't have a latch quite like this. it reminds me slightly of a knife latch for screen windows, such as the Andersen 70-174, but it's not the same shape or design so I have doubts this would work for you. You may need to contact Andersen for assistance. I apologize for the inconvenience.
