Anderson 108

A quick learner from Petoskey, Mi says:

Can I order a spindle and handle for a right opening Anderson window stamped 118? Does the spindle just drop in or does the whole unit need to be replaced?

I need to see if I can order a new clip for the window that opens out to the left and a cover, spindle and handle for the window that opens out to the right. Stamped 108.

Thanks

If your spindle has fallen out, then you cannot replace or repair it. You need an all new operator.

Based on your photos, I recommend either our 39-094 and 39-095 or 39-150 and 39-151. The difference between these two matching pairs  is the length of the arm. Carefully review the dimensions we show on each product's store page to confirm the best match.

Thanks for your info. Spindles noted. Does the broken clip also necessitate a complete new unit as well?

Technically, if the clip at the end of the arm is broken then you usually would also need a new operator. However if you're handy and if you happen to have some spares then you could swap them out by riveting undamaged clips on the operator in question.

It's moot if the worm gear is stripped, though. Those are machine-pressed at the factory. It doesn't matter how handy you are, those can't be repaired without the proper equipment.
