I am replacing balances on one of my old Anderson 200 series Narroline double hung windows. The numbers stamped on the old balance is: E54 9#27 5 8. Also stamped under the Anderson Corp. is: 11600-2.
From measuring the glass Anderson's website says I need a 1033 but when I called, the agent said I need a 939.
What is your recommendation?

Judging by the 9#27 stamp, I would have to agree with the Andersen agent. A 24-939 balance sounds like the proper replacement. Let us know how it works.
