Anderson Balance E28 9#31

Question

My house was built in 1985 and has Anderson windows. The balance strings are starting to break. Attached is a photo, the part number is E-28 9#31 7-85

What do you recommend as a replacement, and is there anything else I should care of while I'm in there?

Hey, Ed. I recommend our 24-939, which can replace Andersen balances stamped with 9#31.
