I have sent images for the Anderson counter balance that I would like to purchase.
I sent a front and back view.
Interesting that one side has a number 11600R-2 and the other side has a different number 11600B-3.
If you have these I would like to purchase 2.

Hello, Steve. Based on your old stamp of 939, I recommend our 24-939 Andersen sash balance. I'm very confident that this can work for you.

In looking at the 24-939 and I see that it has an attachment piece with 2 screw holes at the end opposite the sash cords.
My current sash balance attaches with 2 screws in the middle of the device about 3 1/2 " from the end with the sash cords.
My sash balance is 3" x 6 5/16" and fits tightly into a cutout that s exactly that size.
If you don't have an exact replacement can you tell me the size of the 24-939. I imagine the width is the same 3", but i wouldn't want it if the total length including the attachment piece at the end is longer.

I see what you mean. I'm sorry for missing that detail earlier. You just have an older version of the 24-939. Andersen doesn't make balances in your style anymore, but that does mean you will need to dremel space in the wood header to accept the tab on the modern version.
