Anderson Narrowline double hung non-tilt window balances

The part number on the balance doesn't match any number on any list. It appears the part was made in Canada. Could that be the difference. The part number appears to be J17 5# 6-85.

Thank you for posting. It looks like the stamp reads 5#27. In that case, I recommend our 24-531.

Sorry about that. Busy morning. It does say 5#27. Thanks for response. How did you arrive at that match?

Typically Andersen uses the first number to signify the strength and the second is a reference to the cord length, so the 24-531 should be more than sufficient for your application.
