the stamp says J50 5#23 8 79. This is for the right side. I will purchase one for each side. Which one should I choose?

Here's the trick to Andersen balances: find the # sign, and search that code on our site. The first result is usually correct, but you should check the item description to see if your code is mentioned as a possible replacement. The stamp 5#23 corresponds to our 24-531, which (as stated on the item webpage) replaces balances marked "523," among others.
