I have an Andersen Perma-shirls 200 series narrowline double hung window manufactured 1962 to 2012. The windows were purchased circa 1994. The string broke on a unit when we were replacing a lower sash. How do I determine which part to purchase?

Hi, John. Each Andersen balance box is marked with a code that identifies the part. Remove the balance box from the top of the window and check it for codes. You can search them in the search bar of our website or send them to me here to find the correct replacement part.
