I am replacing these balancers on a project. The only number stamped is 0 5 27 (see photos). I have not been able to line up any balancers on your web page to this balancer. There ar also two counter sunk screw holes one which holds up the wood head jamb. none of the units on your web page have these additional holes. can the newer balancers be drilled thru to accomodate these screws. i have 10 units to replace the balancers on. Can you help?
Thank You

Hi, David. "5 27" Andersen balances can be replaced by the 24-531.

Again, thanks Ben for your help with the part number. I had sent in a follow up question related to my original e-mail question. There is a wood head jamb attached by screws to the window frame. The empty hole in the photo shows where that screw pass's thru the balancer. Can I drill thru the new balancer to accommodate these screws without damaging the balancers function. Can you help.

Sorry, David. Let me answer you: there are no holes that go through the new Andersen balance boxes, so you will not need them. Certainly don't drill any! Andersen intends for you to use the lip/flange with screwholes for installation.
