It is 9 inch from screw to round area on crank. I just can't find the crank with the screw on right that slides in limiter. I need the crank. I have handle in cart

Thank you for reaching out to us. This operator looks like an older version of the 39-099 and 39-343. The 39-099 is for windows made from 1999 to present. The 39-343 is for windows made from 1995 to 1998. Take a look at the specifications and see what you think.

Will I be able to remove plastic and put screw in its place to be able to hook up limiter

By limiter, do you mean the track that the nylon guide slides on? The nylon guide at the end of the arm should snap onto the track. As for which operator to use, check the etching in the corner of the glass. The 39-099 operator is used on awning windows made after 1998. Whereas the 39-343 operator was used on windows made between 1995 to 1998.
