I have an Anderson window that has a stamp of AW 2-70 on the glass, i assume it's 1970.
The casement has these metal pieces on the top and bottom. It has a metal pin on it, too which the hinge attaches. The hinge is a single metal arm.
The metal knob circled, broke off the metal piece that's screwed into the bottom of the window. As a result the hinge arm (not sure it's proper name) can no longer attach.
This is not the crank mechanism, it's the hinge mechanism.
Anderson wants me to purchase entirely different hinges and drill new holes in the window and house.
Can you get me a new piece that won't require me to put in a completely different hinge?
The window hinge is on the right, looking from inside the house, to the outside. This is the bottom piece that attaches to the window.
