I ordered a replacement but I think I got wrong one. The attached photos are original part. I believe original part number is 125b-3. Hoping you can help me again. Thanks!

Thanks for reaching out to us. I see that you ordered the 82-043. That would be my recommendation for the part shown here. Can you detail why you think it's the wrong part?

Just looks different than the original latch. However, the replacement looks to be right size. Just curious how to safely remove existing piece in door (pic attached). Was hesitant to use too much force as don't want to harm door. Any advice on good teqnique?

Thank you for confirming! Our 82-043 is just an updated version of your old latch. We also have a video regarding the removal of the lock shown here. I'll post that below.
