Anderson handle

Question

I have the exact same window and have been having a hard time finding a fit.  I've ordered four different 3/8" handles (all for Anderson windows) and they all stop before fitting over the splines.  Did you ever figure out what works?  These windows were installed before I bought the house and probably done when they renovated the house. All I know is they're older than the year 2000.

I don't believe your handle in the photo is from an Andersen window. I have seen this handle before and, from what I can remember, it has a 7/16" diameter bore. It might be best to replace the complete operator and hardware to repair the window. If you decide to go that route, feel free to get back to us with photos of your assembly, including the arms that connect the base to the sash. That will help us determine if a suitable replacement is available.
