Anderson handle part for sliding door

A quick learner from Toledo,OH says:
I don't know what to call what seems to be the defective part of the assembly but that is what seems to be the problem. For the sake of discussion I will call it a "nut" (circled in picture)
The problem is that the screw won't bit fully and screw into the nut. So, the whole handle doesn't attach firmly to the door

There are two screws and two nuts. One set of screw and nut works fine and the other doesn't

Is it possible to purchase two new sets?

The handle has the following identifying numbers / letters on it : 7242A 4 (pat pending). And 2573514 RH INT/L H EXT

Bay Port, Minn. purchased around 1992. Thank you

Thanks for writing in. I'm afraid we do not carry those installation screws or brass handle you show for the Andersen door. I believe you can get that screw and "through" bolt from a local hardware store in your area. Take the ones you now have to show them. Also, it might be worth taking a look at the Andersen handles we carry on the web site, the 88-013 or 88-014. While not the same as your old handle set in appearance, they still might work for you. See what you think.
