Anderson screen repair

A home owner from New York says:
On the bottom of the screen is a Number 1016 I would like to replace it with fiberglass screening no sure of the size to use?

Hello,

The number on the screen frame doesn't necessarily indicate what you need but we may still be able to point you in the right direction. For the size of the fiberglass needed, you should measure the width and height of the screen frame to determine the width of the screen cloth needed. 

Take note that if you have a screen that uses a metal screen spline, you will need to use either the 59-250 for the older style Andersen window screens or the 59-270 spline for a newer screen. I mention this since it is difficult to reuse the metal screen spline in the screen frame. Take a look and see what you think.
