Anderson sliding patio door

A home owner from NJ says:
I have an Anderson sliding patio door from the early 1990's. The thumb latch is suddenly loose and wobbly, just as in your video. Is it enough to replace just the thumb latch or is the entire assembly required? Thank you.

Hey there!

Take a look at our 82-037 deadlock assembly and 82-043 thumb latch. It could be either one that needs to be replaced at this point but a good way to check is to remove the thumb latch and see if the mortise is loose without it.
