Anderson sliding window screen spline

Home Owner from Willard, Ohio

I recently purchased a 50+ old house with Anderson sliding windows. All of the screens need to be replaced. The frames are fine. The spline material is square metal tubing that is split on the underside. The top of the spline is .185" across and the bottom (split side) is

.210" across. What diameter and type of rubber spline would work in this application?

Older models of Andersen screens used that metal spline, but we've found that customers can use our 59-250 foam spline as a replacement with no problems. Do you think you would be able to do the same?
