Part number appear to be..C32 6423 8 86 See attached pic's.

what is the replacement part.

Based on window size and weight?

Visible glass is 24" w x 20" H.

Hi Phil, the answer is in the stamped code you provided. The bit '6423' is actually '6#23'--this is hard to discern but it is typical of Andersen Balance numbers. I had one of my colleagues confirm this to be sure. The 24-637 is meant to replace a number of balance boxes, including ones with the stamped number '623'.

Replacing Andersen Sash Balances is always a matter of going over all the stamped numbers on the box and finding a string of numbers that corresponds with one of the replacement boxes--sometimes these numbers are more obvious than others. Hope this helps!

I thought that may have been a #. Okay. I will order. Anderson should have went with a metal tape label,vs that metal stamping. Guess they never had to read an old one! Oh well. Thanks
