Anderson window arm

Home Owner from Rockport MA

The picture is of the corroded arm on an Anderson casement window. I don't know the age. We live on the coast so that may be the reason for the corrosion. I have not taken the part off as I wanted to check first to see if it is feasible to replace these parts. If it is possible to replace I will remove it and see what parts I need.

Thanks very much

Hello,

The operator shown in your photo resembles the Andersen 39-146 and 39-147. Take a look and compare the dimensions below to your assembly. We've also related the handle and mounting brackets on this page if needed. Thanks for posting and let us know if you have any other questions.

Dimensions for 39-146
Dimensions for 39-146

It's 3 1/4 rather than 2 3/4
4 1/2 is right
And 4 1/2 rather than 3 7/8

Thanks so much for getting back to me so quickly. Do these measurement fit a replacement? And does the entire unit need to be replaced or just the operator and the other bar

It sounds like you may be measuring the complete length of the link arm. The measurements that Casey provided above are from the clip hole to the rivet at the arm joint. The same goes for the cover plate, which is measured between the center of the installation holes. I'd recommend double-checking your measurements to confirm if our replacements would work for your application.
