Another Old Anderson Window Question

A home owner from St. Louis says:
We are officially desperate and would appreciate any help you could give us finding this hardware.

These are Anderson awning windows from the late 50's. No crank. It uses a lever system, where a hook at the end of the lever connects to a small bar on the window. The issue we are having on 8-10 of the windows is that the hook essentially wears away. They bend up in a way that cant be bent back, or the sleeve that locks the lever onto the bar no longer works. So the lever can not stay connected to the window.

If we could find a suitable source for these--or even a replacement, we'd be thrilled.

Thanks!

Tom from SWISCO responded:

You weren't kidding, this is one old part. You aren't going to find this anywhere, unfortunately.

Your best bet is to try to adapt a more modern type of push bar to your window (though even these are pretty old, just not as old as yours). See our 39-370 or maybe even our 39-077. I cannot guarantee that either will work, but I can't think of anything else that would.
