I was having a difficult time getting it out. Backed the exterior screw all the way out but it almost seemed like I would need to take apart the door frame.

Thanks for reaching out to us. We can't be sure of the roller you may need when it's installed, sadly. The 81-082 is used in the Arcadia 700 series door. The 81-074 which was used in the Arcadia 800 series door. You will need to take off the bottom rail of your patio glass door to access the assembly and remove it so you can get a good look at it. Once it's removed, review our specifications and see if they match what you're searching for.

Hey Dave - thanks for the info. I removed the bottom rail and was able to get it out after a lot of messing around with it. It's a match for the 81-082.
So for anyone else viewing this in the future:
Arcadia 700 series door, 60's era
Eichler home in Bay Area, CA
Rollers are match for 81-082
If you need to replace the slider rail, it's 1/4", length depending on the size of your opening.
