Are pivot shoes color coded?

Will the color of the wheel on tilt window pivot shoe tell me which thickness to buy?  (my windows are 1983 traco tilt windows)- the color of the wheel on shoe is blue-

These are good questions you are asking. Carefully compare your 15-118 pivot shoe to ours. These have been used by Traco. As far as the cam on the pivot shoe, the color of the cam is not an important detail when searching for a replacement. The measurements of the pivot shoe is most important when searching for a match. There is also a video I placed for you below that shows you how to remove the pivot shoe from the jamb using the cut-out method.
