Are the 23-234 guides as strong as the original ones?

Are These guides as strong as the original ones? I had gotten some from an old established glass store in Lancaster, pa   But they broke into pieces when installing them. As if they were old  an brittle

Hey there, thanks so much for reaching out! I'm not sure if this is a question I can answer precisely, as I don't know anything about your original guide to compare it to our 23-234. However our 23-234 is a well made part designed to last for years. As of this date we have not received any complaints of them being too brittle.
