Are the rollers on the top of the window necessary?

A home owner from Buckeye, AZ says:
Finally! I think you have the rollers for my 35 year old slider windows I have been looking for (87-162)! There seems to be a set of rollers on top and the bottom. Are the top rollers needed or are they there if you turn the window upside down to use in the other direction upon installation. I don't want to order more than I need. And will the new rollers come with installation instructions? Thanks. Rick S.

I do not believe you would need rollers on top of your sliding window. I agree with you - the top rollers may be for in case you installed the sliding window in a different position.
