Good Morning:
I have a Larson storm door with a Pado Latao lock and your part number 40-049 appears to be a good match except for the portion that goes in the door frame. Attached are 2 pictures of my lock and also 2 pictures of the portion on the frame. The portion on the frame is 6.25" long and has 4 screws 5.25 inches apart while 40-049 has 3 screws. What product should I purchase to go in the door frame in addition to 40-049.
Thank you.

I agree that the 40-049 looks to be our best match for this older storm door assembly. Historically, this has been used to repair Pado doors many times.
When you refer to the part that goes in the door frame, are you referring to the mortise lock? If so, that third screw is meant to help secure the key lock. It doesn't serve any other function.

I am not referring the the mortise lock. I am referring to the striker plate where mine has 4 screws 5.25 inches apart while the striker plate for 40-049 has 3 screws. 2 photos of striker plate are among 4 photos attached to my first post.

One last thought...my current striker plate also wraps around the front of door frame as seen in photo. Thanks for your help!

Gotcha, thanks for verifying. Your keeper is a different design compared to the 40-049 and you would probably be better served just reusing it. If you did need to use the new keeper that comes with this kit, then you will need to drill new installation holes for it to mount on the frame.
