Atrium 28D Window Balance

Hi, hope you can help. We have an Atrium window with two broken balances. Item has 28D inscribed on the channel. Channel is 28 inches long. The rope/string screws to the sash(?) about 3/4 of the way up the window. Does not have a clip of any sort. Having a difficult time finding anything on a balance with a rope/string.

I believe them to be Atrium. That's what we were told.

I was a carpenter for many years so I should be able to complete the repair. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

I received my order of the S796-28 window balances, packed nicely and in ready to install condition. My wife and I did the installation in less than a half hour. They worked perfectly. So nice not to have to prop the window open anymore.
