Atrium (I think) Double Hung Windows Parts

Quick Learner from Covington, GA

I have a few issues with the windows in this house. I think the windows were manufactured 1995 or 1996.

The Photo is the AAMA label on the windows. The best I can determine is these are Atrium Windows. AAMA doesn't have the listing any more but my research lead me to Atrium Windows who are out of business. Apparently Danvid Company in Carroltan, TX was involved after Atrium went out of business.

My major problem for the moment is finding the snap in glazing strips. I need to replace some of the panes because they have lost their seals and are clouding and sweating. Glass is not a problem but the glazing strips are.

I do need some other parts like tilt out latches, locks and ballasts.

I would greatly appreciate any help you can provide.

Hello,

We'd be happy to help but since we specialize in generic replacement hardware, knowing the manufacturer of the window doesn't tell us much. If you could send us pictures of the parts you need removed from the window with dimensions, we'd be happy to recommend some parts from our catalog. For glazing specifically, we'll need to see the snap-in removed and from a side profile angle as shown below.

A local glass shop should be able to help repair the sashes with fogged glass since they'll be able to replace the seal for you. I'm going to relate some videos for you to review to remove and identify some of the parts that you're looking for. Thank you!
