Atrium screen door track

Home Owner from USA
Hello,
I just spoke with a very nice women at your company and she thought that maybe you folks could help me out. I purchased and installed The Atrium Door in 1988. The problem that I have is with the Runner/track for the screen door. The original runner is a thin metal strip 70" screwed into the wood threshold . The metal strip has a raised plastic strip snapped onto it and the wheels for the screen door room on it. The plastic is breaking away making opening the screen very difficult. Do you have any thoughts on how to correct this problem ? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
Bill

Thanks for your patience during this busy season. It definitely sounds like you need a new screen door track, but I'm afraid we couldn't find anything exactly like your original. We do carry the 80-111 but I fear it may be too big to fit in the provided space. Look over our dimensions and let me know what you think. The good news is that it's compatible with most kinds of screen door rollers.

Thanks for the suggestion Tom. I think the 7/16" height is a bit higher than I would like but that design has given me a couple of ideas.

Great, I'm glad to hear we were able to get those gears turning. We'd love to hear from you if you got something to work.

Hello, I have the exact same problem. The bottom screen door track for our atrium door is missing. The underlying screw down strip is there but the lock in track is missing. Cannot find any suitable solutions.  I would love to hear ideas and or if the original poster can post what their solution was. Thank You!
