Attaching sweep to door

Do I need to apply 1/2" waterproof double-sided tape between the sweep and my shower door before I screw it in?

Hello,

You can add waterproof adhesive to our shower sweep and drip rail, but it's not necessary. All that's required is to screw the rail in place on the bottom of your shower door. Thank you!
