Awning Window Crank Reaplcement

A handy person from Venice FL says:
My window crank matches up very closely to your Product code 39-259.
The only difference appears to be with the length of my arm extension is 2 10/16. Yours is 2 1/2. Very close. Need to know if this product will work as a replacement.
Please advise. ty

I think you should be okay. There's some play in these windows when it comes to the linkage, so you can get away with a difference in link arm size. As long as everything else matches up then I think this is a good pick.
