Awning Window Hardware

Question

I have a truth awning window crank that is broken. Which area on the part do I measure to get the correct replacement? If I measure it with the window closed the full length is around 22 1/2 inches long. With the window open the track that the arms run on is about 26 1/2 long. Thank you for any help you might be able to provide
