Awning Window Lock

Contractor from Newport, OR
We are looking for a replacement awning window lock for a school. The school was constructed in the mid 1990's but has had multiple renovations since so we are not sure whether the window is original or was added later. No brand identifiers on the window, unfortunately.

I'm sorry to say that I don't recognize this lock. The design is a bit peculiar. The back end of it, the part that locks the window, reminds me strongly of our 38-090. However the interior side is very different. Plus, the 38-090 is only made to work in residential windows.

That's not to say that it won't work for you, it would just be a little weird. Looking through our records I unfortunately do believe that the 38-090 is our best option, despite its differences, though I cannot guarantee that it will replace the original. Look it over and see what you think.
