Awning crank - new question

Quick Learner from Colorado City
This part came out of the hole where the handle attaches. They just spin around and won't open or close the window. What can I buy to fix it?

Thanks

Hey, Lee. You're going to need an all new operator. That gear bore isn't supposed to come out, and if it has it means the whole mechanism is stripped out. We can recommend a match, but before we can we will need to see the complete operator. Please do your best to open the window as open as it can, and show us a picture of the arms. That will narrow down the list of potential matches considerably.

Replying to Tom's March 27 answer. Two photos attached.
Longest part of arm is approx. 11 in. Shortest approx. 7 in.
Horizontal bar approx. 13 in.
Please tell us which operator to buy. Would also like to know if there are crank options.
Thanks.

Thank you for posting. We believe our 39-015 could be a good match. Please take a look and let us know if you agree.

Thank you. I should have advised you that the present operator is a Truth. As you can see from one of the original photos I sent you, there seems to be a cover on the inside of the window where the crank is. Could you send me instructions (a video, perhaps) to show how to remove and replace the operator? The 39-015 looks good, except for the part that looks like a cover.
Thanks again.

Sure! That trim will have to come off before you can replace it, yes. See the video below. The window is different in this video, but the method of removing the trim that covers the operator is the same. I think it will help.
