Awning window

The handle will not turn window closed. It appears to be stripped.

Hello there!

Thanks for reaching out to us. Your operator is indeed stripped. We may be able to help with a replacement but we'll need more information. Can you remove the operator from the window and linkage? We'd like to see photos of the top and bottom installation tabs, along with a clear shot of the link arm.

Unfortunately I am not at the house for another month. The house was built 30 years ago if that's any help.

I'm afraid it doesn't. We aren't able to narrow down your options without those details, sadly. You're welcome to browse our selection of awning operators here in the meantime.

Does this help? I went back down to get better photos.

We still need to see a photo of the link arm to narrow down your options. Note that we must see it disconnected from the linkage and fully removed from the window so that we can see a clear and unobscured view.

How about you send me the possible options available?

I can't make any promises without seeing the link arm but you can start by taking a look at the 39-011, 39-026, and 39-060. Review their specifications and see if one of these operators matches up with your old one.
