Hello this is an awning window closer left outhand swing... 5(1/2) inches wide white metal.

This operator is very similar to our 39-187. The only major difference is that our link arm is only 5" long, not 5-1/2". It may still work as-is, but if not you can adjust the position of the mounting bracket to make up the difference.

Speaking of the mounting bracket, yours looks like our 39-508. This should work for you if you're unable to reuse the original.

I purchased a 39-187 and 39-188 with the 5" arm. Upon removal I find that mine have 4 3/8" arms. Do you have these or can I press this out and replace the 5" with my 4 3/8" arms? thx

Ah, I see. In that case my recommendation from earlier is the same: try out our operators and see if they work as-is. If not, you can adjust the position of the mounting bracket to make up the difference. Except in this case you'd be making up the difference for a shorter arm, not longer.

Remounting the bracket in the sash will require drilling new holes. When doing this, be very careful not to drill too deep. You don't want to hit the glass.
