Trying to replace the balance shoe that looks like the top part of the shoe has brokien off that the coil balance slides into on the side.
Homeowner has the receipt and shows that the window is a Accuweld series.
Looking for the balance shoe, looks like the coil is still good.
Can you have that type of balance shoe?

Hey Dave. At first glance this looks like the 55-191 Pivot shoe. Please compare to confirm.

That can possibly work. I've changed spiral balances, block and tackle, channel balances, even coil balances. I never changed a coil balance like your S160 with that T at the end. Would that slip into the side near the bottom at that little slot?

Hi Dave. Yes, the tongue slips into that slot in the 15-191's top and then locks into place. The video below shows how to install a similar coil spring system.
